Latest Events conducted in CTE Golaghat


*. 76th Independence Day was celebrated in the College with the hoisting of Tri Colour by the Principal of the College accompanied by the National Anthem at 7:30 sharp on 15th August 2022 followed by a motivational Speech of Dr. Lawanu Bordoloi, Principal of the college. Mrs. Meenakshi Buragohain and Mrs. Bornalee Sarmah, Lecturers of the College spoke on the significance of the Day. The short programme was concluded with sweet distribution among all the staff members and the students of the College. 




*. 32nd Foundation Day of the College was celebrated on 12th August 2022 with a Day long programme. At 5:30 A.M., a Prabhat -Pherry was taken out by the College students along with the staff members. After that, College's Flag was hoisted by the Principal of the College at 10:00 AM accompanied by the College Chorus led by Music Teacher of the College. At 11:15 AM, a Plantation programme took place. The students, staff members of the College and Distinguished guests of the Programme planted many saplings in the College's Campus. The Main Programme started at 11:45 PM with lightening of the Mangal-Deep by the Principal of the College. A total 32 nos. of earthen Diyas were also lightened by the staff members and trainees as the College has crossed its Glorious 32 years. 



   
                            






In the Programme, the College magazine "Darpan" Issue No 2021-22 was inaugurated by respected Smt. Anu Khanikar, Ex-Principal and one of the Founders of the College. She also shared her many memories during  her tenure in the College. The electronic version of the "Darpan" was inaugurated by Pranti Khound Rahman, a Lecturer of the College. Students of the College presented different Cultural items in the Programme. In the programme, an oath regarding "Nasha Mukta Bharat Abhiyaan" was taken by all. Dr. Sameeron Bora, the Inspector of Schools, Golaghat graced the occasion in spite of his busy and hectic schedule. The Programme was ended at 4:00 pm with a vote of thanks by Sri Ujjal Chetia, a trainee of the Out going Batch (2020-22). Sri Dipen Bora, 
a trainee of the Out going Batch (2020-22)anchored the whole Programme.   



*. The relationship of Guru-Shishya in India is a Divine bonding that has a great significance in our Indian heritage and society. The essence of this bonding is sheer devotion, love and hard work. Both Guru and Shishya grow in that process, a Shishya transforms through his Guru’s knowledge and the Shishya keeps his Guru’s teachings alive. Undoubtedly, the Guru-Shishya relationship holds almost a spiritual place in Indian culture.
To reveal their utmost love and respect, the students of outgoing batch of CTE Golaghat (Batch 2020-22) has arranged a Guru-Seva Programme on 8th August 2022 in the Auditorium Hall of the College. On that very day, the Programme was started at 11:00 am  with  the felicitation of the teachers by the students. After that, Principal and all the faculty members kept their valuable speeches. The auspicious programme was ended by a small feast arranged by the Outgoing Batch. Some golden moments of the programme are -

*. As per the guidelines of B.Ed. 4th Semester course, a Socio-Economic Survey (2022) was conducted by the students of 4th Semester B.Ed. (Summer 2022) of CTE Golaghat under the guidance of faculty members. A total no. of 46 students of 4th Sem took part in the survey. The survey was done at Herheri village of Jamuguri of Golaghat district. 




As a part of the survey, the students also presented a street play "Against the Mob-lynching" at the said place for awareness of the society.  


*. Annual Sports & Cultural Programme 2022 of the College was conducted on 15th, 17th, 18th and 19th February 2022 in the College premises. The Events started with the hoisting of the College Flag by Dr. Lawanu Bordoloi, Principal of the College. Trainees of First and Third Semester enthusiastically participated in the different  events during the days. 

            

The Annual Sports was ended on 19th February with an Exhibition Cricket Match played by the Trainees.  


*. Saraswati Puja 2022 was celebrated in the College premises on 5th February 2022. 

The trainees of 3rd Semester took the initiative in celebrating the Event.  

*. 73 nos. Republic Day was celebrated in the College campus on 26th January 2022. On that day, the Tri Colour was hoisted by Parijat Neog, Lecturer of the College. A number of trainees, staff members of the college attended the programme. Sweets were distributed at the end of the programme. 

 
*. Admission process for Admission into First Semester B.Ed. course of CTE Golaghat under Dibrugarh University started from 25th October 2021 and it was successfully completed on 13th December 2021. A total no. of 50 trainees were enrolled for the session 2021-23 among which 27 were Deputed Teachers and 23 were Fresh candidates. 

*. Saraswati Puja 2021 was celebrated in a grand way in the college premises on 15th February 2021 with the help of the Trainees of 3rd Semester B.Ed. Course of the College. 

*. College Week was conducted from 8th March 2021. A number of events were conducted during the week. Trainees of 1st Sem as well as 3rd Sem actively participated in the events.
