Course Details

The duration of the B. Ed Program shall be two years spread over 4 (four) semester, as follows:

1.  Semester I & III (Odd Semester): 1st July – 31st December

2.  Semester II & IV (Even Semester): 1st January – 30th June

Total number of minimum working days per semester shall be as shown in Table -1 :

Enrollment

The total intake of students till 2018 was 100. From 2019-20 academic year it is reduced to 50 according to NCTE norms.

In the Admission process, first preference is given to the Deputed Teachers of Assam Government Schools. The list of Deputed Teachers is every year sent by the Inspector of Schools (IS), Golaghat. Remaining seats are filled up by the Merit List published by our College.
